Staff: Michelle Montoya

Michelle Montoya is a Denver native who has dedicated more than 30 years to serving Denver’s youth as an educator and mentor. She studied education at the University of Colorado Boulder and Metropolitan State University of Denver, and education has remained a driving force throughout her life.

Michelle is passionate about helping young people discover their strengths, build resilience, and become the best versions of themselves. She is excited to continue building meaningful, lasting relationships with the youth and families of Denver. Throughout her career, she has worked to inspire youth to recognize their potential and become confident agents of change in their communities. Outside of her work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren. She loves music, art, reading, traveling, and the thrill of antiquing.
