Staff: Daryl Armstrong-Romero

Daryl Armstrong-Romero was born and raised in Northeast Denver. After spending a few years in Oregon, he's excited to be back home in Colorado. For more than 10 years, Daryl has worked with children, youth, and families. Growing up, he saw firsthand how much of a difference it can make when a young person has someone in their corner who believes in them, shows up consistently, and helps them see their own potential. That has shaped the way he approaches his work and the relationships he builds with young people and families.

Before joining Friends of the Children Colorado, Daryl was a Program Manager with Friends of the Children-Portland. Outside of work, Daryl enjoys spending time with my wife and kids, working out, watching and playing sports, movies, and anime.
