BOARD: Kaytlyn Gilner, M.A.

Kaytlyn Gilner is a mental health advocate and case manager with more than 10 years of relationship-building and consultative experience and over 8 years supporting socioeconomically diverse and high-acuity populations. As a Case Manager with Rocky Mountain Human Services, she manages a caseload of more than 75 adults receiving Medicaid-funded services, building strong rapport and coordinating individualized care across interdisciplinary teams, providers, and community partners.

Kaytlyn brings a global, systems-oriented perspective to her work, shaped by a Master's degree in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is currently completing her Master of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver, deepening her trauma-informed, ethical, and evidence-based approach to care.

Her career spans psychoeducational support, crisis intervention, housing stability, and reintegration services, including work with Excelsior Youth Center supporting at-risk youth and CMI Corporation supporting community reintegration.

Kaytlyn is an active volunteer and advocate. She is a trained Crisis Text Line volunteer, providing real-time crisis support to individuals in emotional distress, and has served as a Family Coordinator with the International Rescue Committee, helping Syrian refugee families navigate resettlement and access essential community resources. She is also the creator and host of a women's mental health podcast, where she makes trauma-informed education and mental health advocacy accessible to a broad audience.
