Together for Change dba Friends Colorado is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to the prevention of bullying.
Our vision is a world where no child is bullied.
Our mission is to increase awareness and knowledge about bullying and bullying prevention. We do this by providing education and tools to youth sports clubs, schools, and other organizations.
To prevent and stop bullying requires a whole community approach, which is why we also work to increase the public awareness, knowledge, and engagement around this important subject.
Our education originates from Friends, founded in 1997 in Sweden, and now the country’s largest bullying prevention organization. Friends work closely with universities, and is a highly respected contributor at conferences and forums around the world, and the initiator of WABF (the World Anti-Bullying Forum).
Bullying, harassment and discrimination are global problems and they require global solutions. There is a need and demand for qualitative, practical methods to prevent bullying – which is exactly what we offer.
Our philosophy is to keep our education affordable for all schools and youth sports clubs and only charge a commitment fee. This is why sponsors and donors play a crucial role to ensure we can continue to educate more youth sports clubs, reach into schools and other organizations, and help more children grow up in an environment where they can thrive.
